COOKING EXHIBITION

The Mostra la Cuina del Pinós is a gastronomic event resulting from the participatory work and joint effort of the Departments of Local Development, Commerce, and Tourism, alongside local restaurateurs. It invites visitors to discover the culinary richness of our town through spectacular menus based on tradition and paired with touches of innovation.

Each year, in the month of February, following the commemoration of our origins as a town with the Villazgo Day, these gastronomic days arrive to promote the quality of the most traditional cuisine made with local and seasonal products. These events showcase hearty, typical Pinosero dishes suitable for the cold weather of this season, such as: “gachamiga”, “cocido con faseguras”, “Ajos Pinoseros”, “Gazpachos” and the most famous of all: rice with rabbit and snails

The Mostra la Cuina del Pinós has become a gastronomic tourism reference in the province of Alicante, as it is a highly consolidated event with over twenty years of history that promotes traditional Pinosero cuisine.
