TOWN CHARTER DAY

Villazgo Day is commemorated to remember the granting of the “Real Villa” charter to Pinoso in 1826, the date from which Pinoso emancipated itself from Monóvar. Since 1997, the “Mostra del Pinós Antic” has been held, in which local groups and associations participate, recalling old trades, customs of yesteryear, and also the “Fira de Degustació i Venda de Productes Gastronòmics, Artesanals i Altres” (Fair for the Tasting and Sale of Gastronomic, Artisanal, and Other Products). This fair includes a zone where local shops sell their products and a zone where restaurateurs and food sector companies offer tastings of the best of Pinoso’s gastronomy
