The Environment Department has as one of its main objectives to serve the public, and has therefore established the Environmental Information Point to provide information and respond to all enquiries and issues relating to environmental matters.

It has an authorised laboratory for the keeping of listed species, as its purpose is research, education, restocking or reintroduction, and therefore it is focused on their conservation, in accordance with Article 13 of Decree 32/2004, which establishes and regulates the Valencian Catalogue of Threatened Fauna Species.
